The young and ambitious company Cosmos IoT and Heracles Almelo have entered into a two-year partnership. Cosmos IoT, which stands for Internet of Things , focuses on smart IoT sensors to create sustainable solutions for smart cities and buildings, among others. Energy-efficient antennas have been placed in the light poles of Erve Asito to build a sustainable network on which IoT applications run.
Thiemo Koster, founder of Cosmos IoT: “Heracles has four large light poles that are ideally suited for our antennas. We were therefore pleased when the club indicated that it was positive about our proposal to install antennas here. With the installation we have managed to create extra coverage in Almelo and the surrounding area.”
Niels Getkate, account manager at Heracles Almelo: “With a relatively small effort, Heracles has been able to contribute to the construction of an energy-efficient network that will be increasingly used in the future. In addition, we will explore together with Cosmos whether we as a club can also reap the benefits of the network by using sensors in our stadium.”
